Gastro Tours Atlanta - Terms and Conditions

By booking a tour with Gastro Tours Atlanta, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Booking and Payment
* All tours must be booked and paid for in full at the time of reservation through our website.
* Prices are as listed on the Gastro Tours Atlanta website and are subject to change without prior notice.
* Tour availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. Your booking is confirmed only upon successful payment and receipt of a confirmation email from Gastro Tours Atlanta.

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
* Customer Cancellation:
* Full Refund: You may cancel your booking for a full refund if you notify Gastro Tours Atlanta at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled tour start time.
* No Refund: Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled tour start time are non-refundable. This includes "no-shows" (guests who do not arrive for the tour).

* Gastro Tours Atlanta Cancellation:
* Gastro Tours Atlanta reserves the right to cancel or reschedule tours due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to, extreme weather conditions, insufficient bookings, or restaurant closures.
* In the event of a cancellation by Gastro Tours Atlanta, guests will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule their tour for another date.

3. Tour Participation and Guest Responsibilities
* Punctuality: Tours start promptly at the scheduled time (6:00 PM as stated). We will wait at the designated meeting point (Midtown Marta Station) until 6:15 PM. To ensure the best experience for all guests, we cannot delay the tour for late arrivals. No refunds will be issued for guests who miss the tour due to lateness.
* Meeting Point: All tours begin at the specified meeting point: Midtown Marta Station.
* Dietary Restrictions & Allergies: You are responsible for informing Gastro Tours Atlanta of any dietary restrictions, allergies, or intolerances at the time of booking via the intake form. While we endeavor to accommodate all dietary needs, we cannot guarantee that every dish will be free of allergens, and cross-contamination is always a possibility. Guests with severe allergies are advised to exercise caution and consult with the tour guide.
* Physical Requirements: Our tours involve walking, standing, and navigating urban environments. Guests are responsible for ensuring they are physically able to participate in the tour's activities. We highly recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes.
* Behavior: Guests are expected to behave respectfully towards the tour guide, other participants, restaurant staff, and the public. Disruptive or offensive behavior may result in removal from the tour without refund.
* Alcohol Consumption: For tours that include alcoholic beverages, guests must be 21 years of age or older and present valid government-issued photo identification. Gastro Tours Atlanta promotes responsible drinking. Guides reserve the right to refuse service to any guest appearing intoxicated.
* Children: TBD

4. Liability and Disclaimers
* Assumption of Risk: Guests acknowledge and understand that participation in a Gastro Tours Atlanta tour involves certain inherent risks, including but not limited to, walking on uneven surfaces, exposure to weather conditions, and consuming food and beverages. By participating, guests voluntarily assume all risks associated with the tour.
* Food & Beverage Disclaimer: While Gastro Tours Atlanta selects reputable food establishments, we are not responsible for any allergic reactions, illness, or injury that may occur from consuming food or beverages during the tour. Guests with severe allergies should carry their own necessary medications (e.g., EpiPen).
* Personal Property: Gastro Tours Atlanta and its guides are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal property during the tour.
* Changes to Itinerary: Gastro Tours Atlanta reserves the right to alter tour itineraries, restaurant stops, or food offerings at any time due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., restaurant closures, menu changes, capacity issues). We will endeavor to provide suitable alternatives.

5. Intellectual Property and Privacy
* Photography/Videography: Gastro Tours Atlanta may take photographs or videos during tours for promotional purposes (e.g., on our website, social media). By participating in the tour, you grant Gastro Tours Atlanta permission to use such images/footage in which you may appear. Please notify your guide if you prefer not to be photographed or filmed.
* Privacy Policy: Your personal information collected during booking will be used solely for the purpose of tour operation and communication as outlined in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Governing Law
* These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
